Vern is a Partner at Baker Botts, L.L.P., where he focuses on shareholder litigation and company-to-company disputes, both US and international. In addition to his litigation practice, Vern enjoys counseling companies on best practices and helping them avoid disputes.

Vern serves as a director of the U.S. Court Tennis Preservation Foundation and is the co-chair of the nominations committee for the US Court Tennis Association, of which he is a former Vice President. He previously served as President of Prince’s Court, a court tennis club, and led efforts to build a new facility at Westwood Country Club.

Vern is a graduate of Georgetown Law (magna cum laude) and Princeton University.
