Susan worked for 28 years at the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency and several U.S. defense contracting companies, in various disciplines including information technology, intelligence analysis, project management, and technical systems training. She also has experience in strategic planning, business development, and engineering management. She has traveled all over the world providing business consultation and conducting training programs at numerous U.S. embassies on six continents. She has additional experience in public relations, writing, editing and singing professionally.

Susan has served as a member of the Women’s Advisory Board for the Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital, and volunteered at The Women’s Center in Vienna VA, teaching classes on job interviewing, resume writing and personal finances.

Susan graduated with Honors from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, and has a Master’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences (The Great Books) from St John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland.
