Dick has worked in the technology industry for over 45 years.  Since 1991, he has started and run small IT consultancies/solution providers.  In 2003, Dick founded RightStar, a company focused in the IT Service Management and Dev/Ops spaces.  The company won numerous awards over the years, including the prestigious National Capital Business Ethics Award given to RightStar for its foundation of honesty, ethics, integrity, and giving back to the community.  Dick sold the company in 2021, and recently retired.

Dick is a strong supporter of various local, regional, and global charities.  He sponsored many charity events at RightStar and joined Pledge 1%.  During retirement, Dick continues to support various charitable organizations and volunteer opportunities.

Dick has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stanford University.
