Ahmed is a Strategic Business Executive for Google Cloud, responsible for driving strategic programs with a primary focus on US national security. He has worked to help the U.S. federal government take advantage of technology solutions for over 20 years. 

Prior to Google, Ahmed spent ten years at VMware, helping various clients take advantage of the latest VMware technology for mission operations. 

Ahmed is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. He published a senior thesis explaining novel techniques to clean contaminated groundwater at one of the country’s former nuclear weapons production facilities.
